城市展馆，生命之旅
2010年海世博会城市生命馆由中国美术学院院长许江、副院长宋建明担任总策划，是世博会五大主题馆的核心，也是唯一一个完全由中国人自己策划设计的展馆。城市生命馆的设计理念来源于人类健康鲜活的生命机体，其核心思想是：“城市如同一个生命活体，城市生命的健康需要人类共同呵护”。城市生命充满活力而又敏感脆弱，历经艰难而又顽强更生，需要我们共同呵护。整个展馆设计围绕城市生命的五项健康体征来表现，由“序厅”、“活力车站”、“循环管道”、“城市广场”和“生活街市”五个展区组成，带给观众一次生命之旅，一种生命健康的思考。
Pavilion of City Being, A Theme Pavilion of 2010 Shanghai World Expo
Journey of Life in Pavilion of City Being
President Xu Jiang and Vice President Song Jianming of CAA are the chief designers of Pavilion of City Being, one of the 5 theme pavilions of 2010 Shanghai World Expo and also the only pavilion planned and designed by Chinese artists exclusively. The design idea of Pavilion of City Being is from energetic and healthy human body and its core idea is “a city is similar to anything with life and needs human care to keep healthy”. The life of a city is strong and energetic, but it is also weak and sensitive. It can resist harms and survive catastrophes, but it also needs our care. The whole pavilion is designed based on the 5 health indexes and it is divided into 5 sections including “Starting Hall”, “Energetic Station”, “Circulation Pipe”, “City Square” and “City Streets”, it can let visitors have a journey of life and think about importance of health.
